RhinoEven though Linda Ronstadt’s Parkinson’s disease has meant the legendary vocalist’s singing days are behind her, there’s still never-before-heard music on the way from the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, thanks to her prolific recordings with Dolly Parton and Emmylou Harris in the eighties and nineties. This fall, The Complete Trio Collection, which boasts 20 alternate versions and unreleased songs, is set to come out.

Before the album is available September 9, Rhino has put out a new lyric video featuring a new take on the 1988 Dolly Parton-penned “Wildflowers.” The previously-unheard version features a pluckier, more bluegrass-flavored arrangement, with Dolly, Emmylou and Linda each taking the lead on one of the three verses, while Dolly is front and center on the the take that went to number six on the country charts.
