A Clay Center woman was taken to the hospital following an accident on I-70 Thursday afternoon. Samantha Hurst, 20, was westbound on I-70 about a mile west of Junction City when she lost control of the 2012 Nissan Altima she was driving due to the wet road, went across the median, and slid into the south ditch.
Hurst was taken to Geary Community Hospital with a possible injury. The accident was reported at 4:20 p.m.
