The event doors are not open to the public until 10AM on Sunday morning but those wishing to bring their buck in for scoring and/or to enter the Monster Buck Contest can do so starting at 9AM on Sunday morning.
2 PM Main Event to announce all category winners and to crown the Kings of Kansas should there be a buck that is better than our current King of Kansas bucks.
Monster Buck Classic main event will happen at 2PM on Sunday. To enter the Monster Buck Contest or have a buck officially B & C and/or BTR (Buckmasters Trophy Records) Scored. *Only Kansas Residents are eligible to enter the Monster Buck Contest. Anyone, resident or non-resident, can have a whitetail deer officially scored. King of Kansas Trophies In addition to the announcement of each category winner for the 2014-15 Kansas deer season we could crown a new King of Kansas Typical or Non-Typical should someone enter, qualify and win. In 2012 we crowned the first ever King of Kansas Typical and Non-Typical bucks, Rachelle Karl’s 182 1/8 inch monster as our King of Kansas Typical and Lucas Cochren’s 238 4/8 inch bruiser as our King of Kansas Non-Typical. In 2013 we saw Don Parr topple Rachelle Karl’s King of Kansas Typical with a stunning 194 6/8 inch monster. Then in 2104 we watched as Cade Hays brought in a new King of Kansas Non Typical that topped Lucas Cochren’s monster by a mere 2/8 of an inch with a net score of 238 6/8 inches!
Buckle up for a full weekend of fun… America’s largest indoor demolition derby returns for the 5th consecutive year to the Kansas Expocentre. The action runs Friday through Sunday, Nov. 14-16, during four sessions of smashing, crashing and bashing in 12 vehicle classes, with over 250 drivers. Get your tickets now!
This year’s event will feature multiple camera positions and instant replay, as well as behind-the-scenes clips and interviews. Also, the Blizzard Bash is bringing in the nationally-recognized podcast crew from “The Crash Course” to provide commentary throughout the weekend.
Saturday’s show will feature the second round of the team event, old iron modifieds, 80s modifieds, the qualifying team feature, and even kids power wheels!
