CMAZac Brown Band has added an eighth member just in time for their Great American Road Trip starting next month. Matt Mangano has joined the group on bass, leaving bassist and vocalist John Driskell Hopkins free to play other instruments. Matt previously toured as a guitarist with John Mayer and is also featured on Zac Brown Band’s latest album, Uncaged. He appears on their live DVD, Pass the Jar, too.

Zac Brown Band’s upcoming tour includes two sold-out shows at Boston’s Fenway Park June 27 and 28. Kacey Musgraves will join the trek May 29 through June 1, too.
