Americans have ranked New Jersey worst among the states.A poll by YouGov says New Jersey is not only the least-liked state, but it’s also the only state that Americans actively dislike.
The second least-liked state is Alabama and even then more people like the state than dislike it, with 39 percent liking the state and 31 percent feeling the opposite.For New Jersey, 40 percent of Americans said they had a bad opinion about the Garden state while only 30 percent had a favorable one.
Illinois, Mississippi and Indiana rounded out the bottom 5.The most popular state is Hawaii, followed by Montana, Wyoming, Alaska and Maine.
