A Junction City man waived his preliminary hearing this past week in Geary County Court in a child pornography case. Dale Holvorson is now set for arraignment before Judge Steven Hornbaker but is expected to enter into a plea agreement June 17th.
Holvorson was arrested in March of this year on 14 counts of distribution of child pornography and 20 counts of possession of child porn. The Junction City Police Department was assisted by the Kansas Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the Wichita Police Department, with a search warrant served in the 14-hundred block of West 11th Street in Junction City. Numerous computers and other electronic evidence were seized at that time.
