Warner Music NashvilleAs 2015 draws to a close, Ashley Monroe can mark at least two items off her bucket list. This year, she scored her first number one on the country chart with Blake Shelton on “Lonely Tonight.” Then on Monday, the same song helped her land her first recognition from the Grammys. She’s also up for Best Country Album for The Blade.

“Today I woke up and saw a lifelong dream come to life,” she said. “I’m truly so grateful and so proud to be nominated for a Grammy! Thank you to [producers] Vince Gill and Justin Niebank for helping me create a record I couldn’t be more proud of. And thank you to Blake for asking me to sing on ‘Lonely Tonight’ with him. Wow… I came out like a rose,” Ashley joked, referring to the title of her previous project.

Ashley and Blake will find out if they’ll take home the Best Country Duo/Group Performance Grammy February 15, when the awards are handed out live on CBS. This past weekend, Ashley played her final date of the year at the Hard Rock in Vegas.
