ABC/Image Group LAIf ABC were ever to decide to cast a country artist as The Bachelor, Brett Eldredge could no doubt be a contender. Having already appeared multiple times in People‘s yearly Sexiest Man Alive issue, he even plays up his single status in the new video for “Drunk on Your Love,” as a handful of Brett clones romance the same woman, in a clip inspired by the Michael Keaton movie Multiplicity

“I’m being single now, and just taking my time trying to find the right thing,” he confesses. “But it is always interesting to see how people introduce — I’ll meet somebody’s grandma and she’ll be like, ‘You need to meet my granddaughter!’ or whatever. But it’s funny and I love meeting people like that.”

While the focus on their bachelorhood might bother some artists, Brett seems to take it all in stride and deal with it with his usual sense of humor.

“It is funny. Some girls will introduce me to their mom or whatever. Or their mom will be like, ‘I need you to meet my daughter. She’d be perfect for you!’ And it’s so funny for me, because I’d love to meet their daughter. You know, you never know!”

This weekend, Brett was busy entertaining fans on the beach at Luke Bryan‘s Crash My Playa getaway vacation in Riviera Maya, Mexico. Next, he heads overseas for four dates in the United Kingdom and Ireland next month, before heading out on tour with Keith Urban and newcomer Maren Morris in the summer.
