Image Courtesy Mercury NashvilleBilly Currington was looking for a big song to really amp up his concert crowds when he recorded his latest hit, “We Are Tonight.”

Billy tells ABC News Radio, “Everybody wants them kind of songs when you finally do get to the arenas. You want to put a song out like that in front of the crowd and create that environment. With ‘We Are Tonight,’ I think we did.”

Performing “We Are Tonight” with a big sound system and elaborate light show has been a thrill for Billy. His fans seem to like it, too.

Billy says with a laugh, “Yeah, you definitely save a song like that for towards the end when you know they’re good and ready and had a few drinks in ’em.”

Billy is headlining a few shows this summer in between his tour dates with Lady Antebellum. Go to BillyCurrington.com to see where he’s playing next.
