The project sold 101,000 units in its first week out, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Blake previously bowed at the top of the all-genre chart in 2011 with Red River Blue.

Only two other country albums have topped that all-genre chart so far in 2014 — Eric Church‘s The Outsiders and Miranda Lambert‘s Platinum.

Lady Antebellum‘s latest offering, 747, bows at #2 on the Billboard 200 with 74,000 copies sold in the first week. This week marks the first time since 2010 that two country albums have held the top two positions on that chart: back then, it was Taylor Swift‘s Speak Now at #1 and Jason Aldean‘s My Kinda Party at #2.
