Arista NashvilleBrad Paisley and his wife, actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley, recently celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary. What’s the secret to making their love last?
Brad tells Parade, “I think there’s no secret other than mutual respect and a sense of humor. A sense of humor can get you through so much.”
Brad and Kimberly also share that bond with their two young sons, Huck and Jasper. Brad’s trying to instill that sense of humor into his kids, but it doesn’t always go smoothly.
“I remember one of my kids the other day did something that made everybody laugh and he was like, ‘I wish everybody wasn’t laughing at me,” Brad says. “And I told him, ‘you know how hard some people work to try to get people to laugh at them?’”
Brad made people laugh with guest spots on CBS’s The Crazy Ones and Two and a Half Men this year. He’s back on the small screen as a “celebrity expert” on ABC’s new singing competition, Rising Star, premiering June 22.
