Warner Music NashvilleAfter a memorable performance of “Blue Bayou” at this year’s Medallion Ceremony at the Country Music Hall of Fame, Brandy Clark has been added to next month’s tribute to Linda Ronstadt in Los Angeles. Brandy did the song in honor of new Hall of Fame inductee Fred Foster, who was instrumental in the career of Roy Orbison, who originally recorded the tune that became a Ronstadt staple.

“Linda Ronstadt is one of my favorite artists and biggest musical influences,” Brandy says. “I admire how beloved she is within all music circles, from pop to rock to country and beyond. I am honored to be part of this great event and to help raise money for such an important cause.”

Jackson Browne and Grace Potter are also on the bill for A Tribute to the Music of Linda Ronstadt, which takes place December 11 at The Theatre at Ace Hotel in L.A. All proceeds will go to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, to help with the disease that robbed Ronstadt of her iconic voice.
