Atlantic/Warner Music NashvilleThursday morning on NBC, Brett Eldredge joins Kelsea BalleriniMaddie & Tae and Easton Corbin, as they brave the New York City weather to play The 90th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. It happens Brett has already had a crash course in pushing through the cold.

“I did the Macy’s parade two years ago, and it was when I was first getting started and I was so excited to be in the parade,” he recalls. “And I got there and it was so cold, I was like, ‘This is freezing! But when I get on that float I’m gonna be running [on] adrenaline [from] just millions of people up and down the streets.’ And that’s what happened. I got on that float and all these little kids were dressed up as cookies, and like all this crazy stuff, and they’re all cold, but everybody was just so happy!”

This year, Brett’s even more excited to take part in the turkey day tradition, since his new holiday album Glow just came out.

“Getting asked back to do it again and now, having a Christmas album, that’s the time when everybody really starts to listen to Christmas music. What a perfect way… to hop on a float and sing Christmas songs until I can’t sing ’em anymore. And then celebrate Thanksgiving with my family in New York City. It’ll be cool!” he says excitedly.

The three hour parade kicks off at 9 a.m. on ET, and then repeats at 2 p.m. Thanksgiving afternoon.
