ABC/Image Group LA Just days after wrapping the initial leg of his Caliville headlining trek, Brett Young is poised to have the third number-one of his career, as “Like I Loved You” you sits at number two on the country chart.

Earlier in 2017, Brett hit the road with Lady Antebellum on the You Look Good World Tour, before setting out on his own dates in October.

“It’s cool. You know there are a lot of things about having your own tour that are really telling,” he says. “But one of them is that, you know, you’re the hard ticket. If people don’t show up, that’s on you. If people do, that’s on you.”

With many of Brett’s Caliville dates selling out, his fans not only showed up, but they also proved their love for his self-titled debut album.

“It’s not just that they’re coming out,” he tells ABC Radio. “They know every word to every song, which means that they’re buying the record, which means that they’re diving in and they’re learning. So I’m finding out that I have great, great fans. And that’s really encouraging.”

If “Like I Loved You” can clinch the top spot, it’ll mean every single Brett has ever released has gone to number one. “In Case You Didn’t Know” and “Sleep Without You” both made it to the pinnacle of the country chart as well.
