ABC RadioAt Sunday night’s Grammys, Brothers Osborne are competing for Best Country/Duo Group Performance for “It Ain’t My Fault.” But they’re also taking the stage at Madison Square Garden to pay tribute to the 58 lives tragically lost in the shooting at October’s Route 91 Harvest Festival.

TJ Osborne says he won’t be thinking about the musical luminaries in the room; instead, he’ll be focusing on the victims who lost their lives at the Las Vegas concert.

“There’s a lot of nerves around playing the Grammys,” TJ confesses, “because you’re in front of the upper echelon of all genres there in one room. And for me… that it’s a tribute to those victims… it kinda takes it off of that to me. I think I’ll be far more emotional than I will be nervous.”

“I think that’s really my worry, is actually just getting through the performance in that regard,” he adds. “But it’s certainly an incredible honor to not only play the Grammys, but to do it for that occasion.”

Eric Church and Maren Morris will join Brothers Osborne for the special moment in the show.

“We feel very, very fortunate to be able to play on the Grammys,” John Osborne agrees, “especially with Eric and Maren, who are two very good friends of ours. That’ll take a lot of the focus off of it, because there are nerves surrounding it. But I think the most important thing about that moment is honoring the victims and their families.”

“Above all else, I just hope that at the end of the day, we can help heal something, at least a little bit.”

You can watch for the tribute as the 60th Annual Grammys air live from New York City on CBS, starting at 7:30 p.m. ET.
