Arista Nashville/RCA RecordsCam’s “Burning House” blazes a trail to number one, according to this week’s Mediabase tally, just as her full-length debut makes an impressive debut on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart.

Untamed comes in at number two on the Billboard list, selling 37,000 copies, enough to make it the best-selling first week of any new country artist this year. It fares even better on the all-genre Billboard 200, moving 45,000 units, when you factor in digital sales and streams, ranking at number 12 overall.

The Recording Industry Association of America also just certified “Burning House” platinum, for selling the equivalent of a million copies, counting streaming. That makes Cam the only female artist to accomplish that feat with a song from her major-label debut album this year.

She’ll also be the only female on Brad Paisley’s Crushin’ It World Tour this winter. Cam hits the road with Brad and Eric Paslay starting January 21 in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
