Cam Sings — and Draws Album Covers, Too

As her hit “Burning House” breaks into the top ten this week, the California-born newcomer unveiled the first physical copy of the artwork for her Untamed CD on her Facebook page. Showing it side-by-side with the black-and-white drawing that inspired it, she added the caption, “The album booklet fresh off the press!! (and my highly artistic mock-up that TOTALLY got us there ha),” adding a thank you to photographer Ninelle Efremova, who took the picture.

This year, both Cam and Kelsea Ballerini hit the top ten for the first time. According to Billboard, you’d have to go back to 2001 to find the last time two new female artists accomplished that feat in the same calendar year. Cam’s debut Untamed is due in stores and online December 11.
