Arista NashvilleHeads up! Sunday is Father’s Day, but if you haven’t started thinking about what to get your dad, you’re not alone.
“I have not even begun to compute Father’s Day yet,” Carrie Underwood admits. “We just wrapped the first leg of the tour and then it was kind of immediately here for CMA Music Fest week. You know it’s just been go, go, go. So I will think of that tomorrow.”
Lucky for her, Carrie says the men in her life are fairly low maintenance.
“My husband is easy to please, as far as — I mean, if I get up and make him breakfast, he’ll be happy,” she says of Mike Fisher, father of their little one Isaiah.
“My dad, he gets mad when we buy him gifts, ‘cause he’s just that kind of person. He’s like, ‘She doesn’t need to be spending any money on me!’ I’m sure I’ll think of something awesome for both of the fathers in my life. I’m sure I’ll think of something brilliant!” she laughs.
