Arista NashvilleCarrie Underwood will give TV viewers their first taste of her new single “Church Bells” Sunday on the Academy of Country Music Awards.

“I love songs about strong women,” she says of the track from her Storyteller album. “I love being sucked into that story: rooting for the woman and seeing that she does something powerful that she never thought she could do. People are strongest when they’re pushed to their limits,” she asserts.

The two-time ACM Entertainer of the Year shot the music video for the “Church Bells” during her tour stop in Lincoln, Nebraska. You can catch its TV debut Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
