ABC/Image Group LAIt’s been nearly two years since Cassadee Pope released a new single, and now, she’s turning the page, as she returns with the song, “Take You Home.”

“This is a new chapter,” the season three winner of The Voice says. “Lyrically, it’s really self-assured and reflective of where I am. The music is sweet and vulnerable, but it’s also confident and sexy.”

“There are no boundaries in terms of the music,” she continues, “and I’m not afraid to cross the line and go a little rock ‘n’ roll either. It’s definitely new territory for me all around.”

“Take You Home” is available to stream or download now, and Cassadee hopes when you hear it, you’ll realize it has a double meaning.

“When you meet someone,” she explains, “there’s a moment where you want to show this other person where you’re from and exactly why you are the way you are. “‘Take You Home’ speaks to that.”

“You’re showing this guy that there are lots of layers to you,” Cassadee adds. “It’s not about just a one-night stand. It’s about really understanding. I’m in love with it!”

You can also experience the song through an audio-only clip on YouTube.

Monday, Cassadee returns to The Voice to work with coach Kelly Clarkson, as the knockout rounds begin on the hit NBC show.
