LeAnn Rimes’ Reality Show Canceled After One Season

True Public RelationsLeAnn Rimes has a reason to be feeling a little “Blue” these days.

The 32-year-old singer’s VH-1 reality show with her 41-year-old husband, Eddie Cibrian, has been canceled after an eight-episode first season, according to People magazine.

The couple hoped to use the series LeAnn & Eddie to clear up misconceptions about their marriage.

“The biggest global misconception would be that we’re not two people who are really in love with each other, that there are ulterior motives to our relationship,” Rimes told the magazine back in July.

Speaking about the exposure the series would bring, Rimes told the magazine, “Hopefully people will get a chance to see how we just click.”

The two met while they were both married to other people: Rimes to chef Dean Sheremet, and Cibrian to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville.

Rimes and Cibrian wed in 2011.

Sam Hunt Taking Inspiration from His Instagram Account for Upcoming “Take Your Time” Video

Image Courtesy UMG NashvilleSam Hunt will shoot the video for his new single, “Take Your Time,” in the next few weeks, but he didn’t want the clip to just play out the song’s lyrics about a guy trying to smooth talk the hottest girl in the bar.

“I didn’t want to go down the obvious road and take it as literal as the song and lyrics go,” Sam tells ABC News radio, “but we did come up with a cool concept, and I’m really looking forward to shooting this video. It’ll be a little different.”

If you want a clue as to how the “Take Your Time” video might look, just check out Sam’s Instagram account, @samhuntmusic. Most of the pictures on his feed have an edgy, black-and-white vibe to them, much like the cover of his debut album, Montevallo. That uniform look is no accident.

Sam explains, “Across the board [with] all of our visual content, I’ve tried to maintain a consistency there. We’ve definitely thought about that in terms of the video. I think the video will be sort of an extension of the way that the Instagram represents the whole deal. “

Sam and his team developed the concept for the “Take Your Time” clip over the Christmas holidays, which is an indication of just how busy the singer’s life is these days. Sam’s career has been on a rocket ride ever since his debut single, “Leave the Night On,” topped the country chart last year.

He says, “It feels like two years has gone by in about six months. It feels like so much has happened, and it all went by so fast that it’s hard to really catch up and wrap my head around the magnitude of all of these cool things that are going on.”

Sam is in Los Angeles this week to perform “Take Your Time” on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Thursday.

Blake Shelton Takes Issue with Seth Rogen’s “American Sniper” Tweet

Image Courtesy Warner Music NashvilleBlake Shelton is speaking out against actor Seth Rogen‘s comments about the blockbuster film, American Sniper. The movie,  starring Bradley Cooper as the late Chris Kyle, the most lethal sniper in U.S. military history, has come under criticism from some who believe it glorifies a killer.

The controversy surrounding the Oscar-nominated drama intensified when Seth Rogen tweeted on Sunday, “American Sniper kind of reminds me of the movie that’s showing in the third act of Inglorious Basterds.” He was referring to a fake Nazi propaganda movie about a German sniper that was shown in the Quentin Tarantino flick.

Blake took issue with that comment Monday night, tweeting, ” Sickens me to see celebrities or anybody slam the very people who protect their right to talk sh*t.. #truecowards.” He added, “Proud to support our military.. Period.”

Rogen insists he wasn’t trying to slight American Sniper. He clarified Monday on Twitter, “I just said something ‘kinda reminded’ me of something else. I actually liked American Sniper. It just reminded me of the Tarantino scene.”

“I wasn’t comparing the two. Big difference between comparing and reminding. Apples remind me of oranges. Can’t compare them, though. But if you were having a slow newsday, you’re welcome for me giving you the opportunity to blow something completely out of proportion,” he continued.

As for his next single, Kenny is releasing “Wild Child,” featuring Grace Potter, as the follow-up to his #1 hit, “Til It’s Gone.”
