Lee Brice Ready to Headline His Own Arena Tour in 2015

Image Courtesy Curb RecordsLee Brice‘s days as an opening act are numbered.

As he gears up to release his third album, I Don’t Dance, next month, Lee is already looking forward to launching a headlining tour in the coming year. He’s been on the road with Luke Bryan all year long, and their recent concert at New York City’s Madison Square Garden really gave Lee the itch to play his own sold-out arena shows.

“I came out, and it was filled to the rim when I hit the stage,” Lee tells Cleveland’s News-Herald paper. “That makes me jump and sing harder and run faster and get crazier and let it all loose. I feel like I’m champing at the bit for the next year to get out on my own.”

For now, catch Lee on Luke Bryan’s That’s My Kind of Night tour through the fall. Lee’s new album, I Don’t Dance, comes out September 9.

Kenny Chesney Ready to Get the Band Back Together at Saturday’s Flora-Bama Show

Image Courtesy Blue Chair/Sony Music NashvilleKenny Chesney is primed and ready to entertain his fans at the Flora-Bama Lounge on the Gulf Coast this Saturday. He hasn’t been on stage with his band in almost a year, so Kenny plans to keep the show loose and just have fun with it all.

He says, “We might not have a set list until that day, which is kind of cool ’cause we’re going to have a lot of new music we’re gonna play. Who knows. We’re gonna play for a while that day.”

Of course, Kenny is referring to songs from his upcoming album, The Big Revival, due out September 23. It’s been a while since Kenny recorded the vocals for that project, so he’s been working to get his vocal cords strong for the show.

“Your vocal cords are like a muscle,” Kenny explains. “It’s like anything else. If you don’t use ‘em, they get weak.”

Kenny’s also going back over the lyrics to his biggest hits so he doesn’t forget the words on stage.

He says with a laugh,”I haven’t sang any of these songs in a year or over.”

While the Flora-Bama show is free, fans have to have wristbands to get into the show. Those passes were all claimed very quickly after becoming available online a few weeks back.

He says, “It made me feel so good that so many people wanted those wristbands. That they cared. It’s just gonna be a fun, fun, fun day of music and getting everybody together and just enjoying the atmosphere and the environment of the Flora-Bama.”

Of note, show organizers are asking fans without wristbands to stay away from the Flora-Bama this weekend. According to AL.com, the show will be taped for a TV special, so fans who can’t make it to the show can look forward to seeing highlights at a later date.

Florida Georgia Line to Release New Album, “Anything Goes,” on October 14

Image Courtesy Republic Nashville(NEW YORK) — Before Florida Georgia Line rocked the stage Friday at Good Morning America’s Summer Concert Series, they made a special announcement fans have been waiting for.

“We got some new information on our brand new album, record two,” Brian Kelley teased, before saying, “Release date is October 14th, 2014.”

Tyler Hubbard then dished on the album’s title. “We had to call this one Anything Goes. That’s our motto for the album too,” he said to cheers from New York City’s Central Park.

The country duo said the album is very much inspired by where they are in their careers right now.

“It’s just where we are in life at this point, and where we’ve grown and who we’ve become,” Tyler added. “And to be honest we’ve learned a lot from our fans. We’ve learned a lot from playing every single night for the last three years. So we’re excited. We tried to step up our game and we’re ready for you guys to hear it.”

During the concert, FGL performed their brand new single “Dirt,” and also rocked out to “Cruise.” They later revealed the album cover via Instagram.

Taylor Swift: “I Have to Try a Little Harder” to Look Good After a Gym Workout in NYC

Big Machine RecordsTaylor Swift always seems to look great, even after a workout out at the gym.

Taylor, who lives in New York City these days, has been photographed a number of times coming out of the gym after a workout looking like she’s ready to walk the red carpet at an awards show.

During an appearance on NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers Thursday, the singer explained that she feels she always needs to look her best when she’s walking around the Big Apple.

“I just feel like when I walk out onto the sidewalk in New York…I have to try a little harder.”

The 24-year-old singer denied the tabloid rumor that she spends an hour getting dressed after her workout. “That’s ridiculous,” she insists.

Taylor was on Late Night to promote her appearance in the film The Giver, opening Friday, as well as her Yahoo! worldwide live stream next Monday.

Luke Bryan Welcomes Fellow Georgia Boy Brantley Gilbert for Tonight’s Stadium Show in Philadelphia

Image Courtesy CMALuke Bryan welcomes Brantley Gilbert on the bill for his show at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia Friday night, and fans at the concert are in for a special treat from the two Georgia boys.

Luke tells ABC News Radio, “I’ve got to call him because we’re going to work on some cool stuff to kind of collaborate on for that show. So, we’re excited about having him out.”

The Philadelphia show is just the latest stadium date on Luke’s That’s My Kind of Night tour. Though the show has some similarities to his regular arena shows, Luke tries to make the most of playing such large venues.

“We shoot off a bunch of fireworks at the end of the show,” he explains, “but then we do have intimate moments. I feel like it gets real small in that feel, and I think that’s a special moment for your show. I try to do the whole emotion of everything no matter where I’m playing a show.”

So, what advice would he give to other country stars hoping to headline those big stadiums someday.

Says Luke, “The only way to learn how to play stadiums is to walk your butt out there and play the stadium. I learned that my first one in Heinz Field. It’s a whole ‘nother animal.”

Lee Brice and Cole Swindell are also on the bill for Luke’s big show in Philadelphia.
