Instead of trying to keep up with every other male singer on country radio today, Charlie tells The Tennessean, “I want my compass to be my heart and the fact that I grew up in a state that gave us Elvis Presley and B.B. King and Marty Stuart and everybody and their momma. When people dig into my new record, I want them to feel that.”
