Warner Music NashvilleWith his latest single “Power of Positive Drinkin’” now climbing the charts, Chris Janson has managed to squeeze in one more accomplishment for his breakthrough hit. “Buy Me a Boat” has just been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America, meaning it’s hit the million mark, when it comes to downloads and equivalent streams.
“This has been an incredible year for me and my family, and we are so grateful. It’s been surreal with ‘Buy Me a Boat’ going to number one and getting to perform the song on stage every night. Words cannot express the gratitude I feel,” he reflects.
Chris will have more chances to sing his chart-topping hit, when he hits the road with Blake Shelton starting February 18 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
