Country Music AssociationCMA Music Festival 2016 is in the books, and it’s officially a record-breaker. Close to 90,000 fans attended each of the four days in downtown Nashville, with great weather and two new free stages at Ascend Amphitheater boosting attendance, according to the Country Music Association.

Here’s how it stacks up, by the numbers. More than 500 artists participated in a combined 250 hours of concerts on 11 stages, seven of them free, for the 45th anniversary of the festival that started out as Fan Fair.

Next year’s gathering will be June 8 -11, 2017, with tickets on sale now for returning festival-goers. The remaining seats will be available Monday, July 11. You can find more info at CMAfest.com.
