24/7 Wall St. came up with a list of the 50 coldest cities in the county using data on the minimum monthly temperature between 1981 and 2010.
Fairbanks topped the list with an average monthly minimum temperature of -16.9 F.
Grand Forks, North Dakota came in second with an average monthly minimum temperature -3.1 F followed by Fargo, North Dakota (0.1 F), Williston, North Dakota (0.1 F) and Duluth, Minnesota (1.5 F).
