ABC/Lou RoccoIt’s been quite a year for Lauren Alaina: She’s poised to soon have her second #1 with “What Ifs,” her duet with Kane Brown, on the heels of “Road Less Traveled,” which made it to the top spot back in April.

The American Idol alum also starred in her first feature film, a semi-autobiographical romantic comedy that shares its title with her first chart-topper. This November, you’ll be able to see it on CMT.

In Road Less Traveled, Lauren stars as Charlotte, a successful singer/songwriter who travels back to her rural hometown of Harmony, Tennessee, to plan the perfect wedding. As you might guess, things don’t go exactly as planned, and she ends up in a bit of a love triangle.

The movie samples quite a few songs from Lauren’s current album, including her latest solo single, “Doin’ Fine.” You can catch the TV premiere of Road Less Traveled November 10 at 9 p.m. ET on CMT.
