Sony Music NashvilleCam wrote her debut hit, “Burning House,” based on a dream she had about seeing an old love for the first time in a while. Since it comes from such a personal place, it’s no wonder fans are really passionate about the song.
Cam says, “People run up to me after shows, and it’s like we’re already friends, kind of, because their stories are my stories, and they say, ‘Oh, my gosh, I just broke up with someone, and “Burning House” — I’ve listened to it 10 times, and this is my story.’”
Luckily, Cam is in a much better romantic place now. She recently announced her engagement to Adam Weaver.
