Capitol NashvilleUpon learning of the tragic shooting at the Emmanuel AME Church in his hometown of Charleston, South Carolina Wednesday night, Darius Rucker tweeted, “I don’t know what to say. I am in utter shock. Thoughts and prayers to our community & those families affected by this horrible tragedy.”

Nine people were killed in the shooting during a Wednesday night prayer meeting. The alleged shooter was taken into custody Thursday morning.
