ABC/Image Group LADierks Bentley shows off his comedic chops in a new YouTube video that captures some private moments, as the first-time Academy of Country Music Awards co-host prepares for his new gig.
“Are you ready for this? You hosting? And Luke [Bryan]. Mostly you. Blake [Shelton]’s out. This guy’s in,” a robe-clad Dierks jokes to himself in the bathroom mirror, after a shower-singing session that includes both Whitesnake’s “Here I Go Again” and Drake’s “Hotline Bling.”
The “Somewhere on a Beach” hitmaker’s preparations include quite a few karate moves, considerable difficulty opening an ACM envelope, and some hilarious bathroom mirror vogue-ing as he pretends to put himself through camera blocking.
