BeyondPR GroupThis Christmas season, Dolly Parton is making a public plea to help find an organ donor for her long-time personal attorney, Jerry Edelstein.

“Jerry and I have been friends for several decades now and he’s one of the finest people in the whole world,” the entertainment icon says in a new video posted to YouTube. “As the holiday season is upon us, one of my wishes is for a new kidney for Jerry.  I am not a suitable donor but in the spirit of giving, please go to PublicGood.com/FloodSisters and see how you can help. Please do because he’s so sweet and precious!” she adds.

Edelstein also represents rocker Jon Bon Jovi.

The Flood Sisters Kidney Foundation of America was founded by three siblings who were eventually successful in finding a living donor for their father. You can find out more about the nonprofit on their website.

NBC re-broadcasts Dolly’s hit movie Coat of Many Colors at 9 p.m. ET this Christmas night.
