Image Courtesy Republic NashvilleEli Young Band‘s new EP, Turn It On, is now available at all digital outlets, and the title track is already making a big impression at country radio. The guys wrote the song on their tour bus and recorded it in January, and say they knew they were on to something good when they hit the studio.
Eli Young Band’s Jon Jones tells ABC Radio, “It was just sounding fresh and new. The label was really, really enthusiastic and excited about it and wanted us to release the music really quickly to radio.”
The new EP features three other songs besides “Turn It On,” and the band’s lead singer, Mike Eli, thinks the project gives fans a good idea of where they’re headed musically.
“We’ve always been constantly evolving,” Mike explains. “The music on the EP, it’s going to set the tone for the kind of music we’re going to continue to make.”
The Turn It On EP also includes the new tracks “Plastic,” “Your Place or Mine” and “Drink You Up.”
