Image Courtesy CMAEric Church‘s Outsiders World Tour kicks off Thursday night in Bossier City, Louisiana. For the first time, Eric is setting up his stage in a 360-degree configuration, which means he’ll be surrounded by fans during the show.

Eric explains, “There’ll be no barrier if you’re behind the stage, if you’re in front of the stage, wherever you are, it’s gonna be the same experience. We’re gonna work it that way. There won’t be just one front row, there’s gonna be multiple front rows all the way around the stage.”

Giving his fans more access is very important to Eric, who goes to great lengths to make sure his fans access to concert tickets over scalpers. He’s got a few other tricks up his sleeve with the show’s design to connect with fans all the way up in the upper levels, although he’s not spilling the details on those.

Eric adds, “I wanted [people anywhere in the arena] to have that experience, that complete arena experience, where regardless of where you were sitting, you were a part of the show, just like we were.”

Eric is taking Dwight Yoakam along on The Outsiders World Tour along with Brandy Clark and Brothers Osborne on select dates.
