Image Courtesy EB MediaEric Church released his latest album, The Outsiders, back in February, but he’s not launching the world tour behind the album until September. That’s given him plenty of time to rehearse and really get excited about playing these new songs live.

Says Eric, “I can look forward to it, you know? I’ve never had the anticipation that I have for this one. So, I wish it was September right now.”

To round out the bill, Eric has invited one of his heroes, as well as a brand-new duo, to open his shows.  “I’m bringing Dwight Yoakam, you know, back with me,” he says. “I’m a huge Dwight Yoakam fan. I grew up listening to Dwight’s music. And Brothers Osborne, who’s a new band that’s out right now that I like a lot.”

Critically-acclaimed singer/songwriter Brandy Clark will also open a few shows on Eric’s tour, which kicks off September 11 in Bossier City, LA.
