Nancy Seltzer & Assoc.Garth Brooks is one of five celebrities being honored this week with Entertainment Tonight’s first Icon Awards, as the show marks its 35th season. Oprah Winfrey, Jennifer Lopez, and Ellen DeGeneres are the other ET Icons, as well as former host Mary Hart, who was honored in a special show last month.
This week, you’ll start to see new interviews, as well as archival footage, focusing on each celebrity’s individual accomplishments. “Each one has a unique story to tell: Oprah Winfrey is about intention; Jennifer Lopez, passion; Ellen, truth; Garth Brooks, gratitude and Mary Hart, groundbreaking,” Executive Producer Brad Bessey says.
