Even in 20,000-seat venues, the renowned entertainer wants his fans to know — he still sees you.
“Two cities ago, I look back and against the back wall was this cowboy. This real guy was back there, and I kept noticing he was like this, up against the wall, watching,” he recalls. “Well, for some reason, he’s brought his infant baby, son or girl. But he’s up there having the greatest time all night. Never sat down. Just had that baby, and just…this big ol’ smile on his face.”
Garth is likely to have a big smile on his face these days too. This week, he and his tour-partner Trisha Yearwood celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary. The couple works their first 2016 dates starting January 14 in Sunrise, Florida. The Sin City run kicks off June 24-25 and resumes July 2-4.
