ABC News RadioFlorida Georgia Line has been on a rocket ride since their debut hit, “Cruise,” shot them to superstardom, so a lot of the past year seems like a blur to them now. That’s why they want to take the time to savor their performance with Luke Bryan on Sunday night’s ACM Awards in Las Vegas.

FGL’s Brian Kelley says, “That’s gonna be a performance that we’re gonna really wanna mentally slow down and mentally just slow it down and try to enjoy that as much as possible. “

Florida Georgia Line won the New Artist trophy at last year’s ACM Awards, and they’re set to headline the ACM Fan Jam at Mandalay Bay Events Center during Sunday’s broadcast.

“To be back and have a year under our belt of touring and madness, I think we’re very excited, man,’ Brian explains. “We’re gonna make a statement with the performance and go big for sure. It’s Vegas. You got to.”

Florida Georgia Line has four nominations going into the ACM Awards including Album of the Year for Here’s to the Good Times. The show airs live Sunday night at 8 ET on CBS.
