ABC News RadioFlorida Georgia Line has been on a rocket ride to the top ever since their hit, “Cruise,” came out in 2012. The duo’s sudden success was a shock even to them, but they’re doing their best to enjoy their good fortune.

“We get to do what we love every single night,” says FGL’s Tyler Hubbard. “It’s a very blessed life that we live. We worked hard to get here, so we’re enjoying the fruits of our labor. We’re just trying to make the best of it. Make smart decisions, and hopefully keep this thing going for a while.”

Tyler’s duo partner, Brian Kelley, agrees, saying, “Every day we wake up, it’s like, ‘Is this really our life?’ Things don’t happen this quick and this fast.”

Above all, Florida Georgia Line is thrilled to lead country’s new wave and bring young fans into the format.

Brian says, “It’s just a really cool time in country music. It really is. People are taking chances. A lot of great new artists. A lot of older artists that are still creating great country music. We just feel like the luckiest dudes to be a part of it.”

Look for Florida Georgia Line to make a major announcement Friday morning.
