BMLG Music GroupFlorida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard says he’s getting back to the basics and taking a break from social media indefinitely.

“I spend way to [sic] much of my valuable time worrying about my next post or how many comments or likes I got,” Tyler shared on his personal Instagram page on Wednesday.

“I love my fans and promise I’m not gone forever,” he went on to say, “but I’m taking some time to refocus on my relationships, the Lord, my marriage, my family, and my music. Maybe I’ll even learn a new instrument instead of learning how to snap chat.”

He accompanied his post with a black-and-white graphic that simple said, “Done with the reel life and getting back to the real life.”

While fans may not be hearing from Tyler directly every day, they can rest assured that all the other Florida Georgia Line socials are continuing to be updated. The duo’s new album, Dig Your Roots, comes out August 26.
