CMAWith the 50th Annual CMA Awards now less than a month away, the “Forever Country” furor continues to grow. Now that the all-star mashup of “Country Roads, Take Me Home,” “On the Road Again,” and “I Will Always Love You” has debuted at number one on the Billboard chart, the Country Music Association is rolling out a new wave of music celebrating the upcoming half-century hallmark.

Forever Country Covers showcases another artist’s take on an iconic country song. So far, Dustin Lynch has done Garth Brooks’ “Friends in Low Places,” Jon Pardi puts his spin on Randy Travis’s “Forever and Ever Amen,” Lauren Alaina adds her touch to Brooks & Dunn’s “Believe,” and Mark Wills wagers on Kenny Rogers’ “The Gambler.”

You can check out the performances on YouTube, and while you’re at it, you can also give your Facebook page the “Forever Country” treatment. The CMA has rolled out a new frame to promote the November 2 show. It adds the CMA Awards logo and the “I am Forever Country” inscription to your profile pic.
