Mark TuckerGarth Brooks continues to break records as his World Tour expands outside the United States. Friday morning, he sold more than 40,000 seats for  shows at the Canadian Tire Centre — with the total still growing. The Oklahoma native will play three shows April 1-3 with his wife, Trisha Yearwood. He sold close to 37,000 tickets in September of 1996 for shows there, when the venue was known as the Ottawa Palladium.

This weekend, Garth was forced to postpone his two concerts in Baltimore, Maryland in anticipation of an expected winter storm. He’ll make up those dates on Sunday the 31st, on the heels of three shows already planned for the last weekend in January.
