A Michigan girl was sent home from her senior prom because her backless dress was considered too revealing.
The girl wore her boyfriend’s jacket into the dance but an hour into the night she was sent home.
School officials said her dress violated the dress code.
The girl’s mother wants an explanation from the school.
The teen was dressed in the $300 blue-and-white polka dot gown.
Her mother says that other girls wearing similar or more revealing dresses were allowed to stay at the prom.
