ABC/Image Group LANot only was Kenny Chesney’s Big Revival Tour the most-attended country outing of 2015, it also may have saved some lives. The East Tennessee native partnered with Love Hope Strength Foundation to register bone marrow donors on his stadium dates. Of the concertgoers who took a simple cheek swab test, 25 came back as potential matches for patients fighting bone and blood cancer.
“I learned through the Spread the Love Fund how small things can sometimes make a major difference,” Kenny says of the non-profit he started after the bombing at the Boston Marathon. “I know my fans will pitch in, will help people in need… I’m thrilled to hear 25 matches have already been found. Maybe we should call them the No Shoes, All Heart Nation,” he adds.

Kenny plays his first date on the Spread the Love Tour April 23 at Auburn, Alabama’s Jordan Hare Stadium. Miranda Lambert, Sam Hunt and Old Dominion will join him in 2016. There’s no word yet on whether he may continue with his work with Love Hope Strength on next year’s shows.
