Courtesy BMLGNext Monday, Rascal Flatts plays a one-night-only performance at the Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City. While their show this Monday may not have had quite the audience next week’s will, it was even more significant.

Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney played an intimate concert for patients and their families at Seacrest Studios at Nashville’s Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. For the first time ever, thanks to the technology made available through Ryan Seacrest’s charity, the set was also beamed to other children’s hospitals in Atlanta, Boston, Cincinnati and Washington, D.C.

The cause has long been a favorite for the trio, who’ve raised close to $4 million for the hospital throughout their career. The Rascal Flatts Pediatric Surgery Center is named in their honor.
