Columbia NashvilleMaren Morris marks the first #1 of her career this week — as both an artist and a songwriter — as “I Could Use a Love Song” ascends to the top the chart.

The third single from Maren’s Hero album is also up for Best Country Solo Performance at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards, which will be handed out January 28 at New York City’s Madison Square Garden. It’s the fifth Grammy nod of her career; she won Best Country Song last year for her debut single, “My Church.”

The Texas native can also lay claim to another impressive feat:  she was the most-played female artist on country radio last year. In 2017, Maren also visited the top of the chart with her duet with Thomas Rhett,  “Craving You.”
