While we don’t know exactly how long it will be before the American Idol winner’s full album will be out, there is some new music to tide fans over.

The Arkansas native has re-recorded Gary Wright’s 1975 hit “Dream Weaver” for the new animated film Ice Age: Collision Course. It’s available as a bonus track on the digital release of the soundtrack.

Last week, Trent shared the stage with label mates Maddie & Tae at the Starkey Hearing Foundation’s fundraiser in Minneapolis. He also got to rub elbows with the likes of Jennifer Garner, Johnny Depp, Alice Cooper and Jay Leno.
