BMLG Records Three seems to be Brett Young‘s lucky number these days:  He’s had three number ones in a row, and one of those — “In Case You Didn’t Know” — has just been certified triple platinum.

The California native is the only new artist to accomplish that feat since 2014. Brett celebrated with his co-writers Trent Tomlinson and Tyler Reeve on Tuesday, getting together at Losers Bar and Grill in Music City. His other collaborator, Kyle Schlienger, wasn’t able to make it.

“Triple platinum. That’s not real,” Brett said. “I’m so thankful to my co-writers, fans and country radio for making this song what it is!”

Brett’s fourth country single, “Mercy,” is currently climbing the chart, and he’ll compete for New Male Vocalist of the Year at next month’s ACM Awards in Las Vegas.
