Image Courtesy Broken Bow RecordsJason Aldean is asking everyone to move on and accept his relationship with his girlfriend, Brittany Kerr, whom he was photographed getting cozy with while he was still married in 2012. Now that Jason is divorced, some fans on Instagram just aren’t letting him live down the way he and Brittany first got together.
On Saturday, Jason posted a photo of himself with Brittany and the new puppy he got her.
A few fans left nasty comments on the photo, which prompted Jason to post a second picture with the words, “You know my name, not my story. You’ve heard what I’ve done, not what I’ve been through.”
He went on to explain in the caption, “So sick of people judging me and @brittanylkerr over things they know nothing about. I have made mistakes but i am a better person because of it, and wouldn’t change a thing. I’m happier than i have ever been, so thank u to all the people who support us. We are happy and life goes on. It’s time to move on people.”
Jason and Brittany made their first public appearance together at the CMT Music Awards in June. According to Brittany’s Instagram account, the couple is headed to the Caribbean this week for some “much-needed” downtime.
