ABC/Image Group LAThis Wednesday, Jennifer Nettles brings the CMT Next Women of Country Tour to New York City’s Beacon Theatre. While we don’ t know exactly when her new album Playing with Fire will be released, Jennifer says one of her favorite parts of the tour is unveiling her new music for her fans.

“What I love the most about it is being able to introduce the audience to all this new music. I call it the ghost of music past, present and future, because of course I play some old Sugarland stuff, I play some stuff off of That Girl. I play a lot of new stuff,” she says in an interview with the web series Backstage with Citi.

Jennifer made the new record with Dan Huff, the producer she first met when she went in to sing on Bon Jovi’s 2005 hit, “Who Says You Can’t Go Home.”

“There’s a lot of sass and a lot of fire on this album that you will hear and a lot of gut and a lot of heart. I just can’t wait for people to hear it… If the response that I’m getting live is any indication, I think people are gonna really enjoy it.”

So far, we’ve gotten a glimpse of two songs from Playing with Fire. Her new single, “Unlove You,” is now climbing the charts, and she sang the song “Sugar” at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. She also made a video for the song.
