ABC/Randy HolmesKane Brown has set a new Guinness World Record, becoming the first country act to top five Billboard charts at the same time.

Kane actually accomplished the feat back in October, when “What Ifs” with Lauren Alaina was #1 on Country Airplay, Hot Country Songs, and Country Streaming Songs, his current single “Heaven” led Country Digital Song Sales and his self-titled debut was #1 on the Top Country Albums tally.

“It feels awesome to be a Guinness World Records title holder and to be the first artist to achieve this with Billboard,” Kane says. “I remember being in elementary and middle school and looking at the books for all of the records, and I can’t believe my name gets to be in there now.”

The awards likely aren’t over for the newcomer. He’s competing for both New Male Vocalist of the Year and Vocal Collaboration for “What Ifs” at next month’s ACM Awards in Las Vegas.
